About Robert
Several years ago, Robert realized that he wanted more creativity in his life, so he began to explore his love for photography and the landscape. Since then, he's traveled extensively--shooting in all kinds of weather and lighting conditions.
In his travels, he's enjoyed the quiet grace of a spring snowstorm in the Yosemite Valley, the striking splendor of a sunset in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, and the anxious anticipation of sunrise battling Patagonia's storied winds in Torres del Paine.
He hopes that, through his images, you can reflect upon some of the wonder and beauty of the wild lands of our planet.
Robert has exhibited his fine-art prints at numerous juried festivals and collaborative gallery shows throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. His work has appeared in Sierra magazine and on Smithsonian Journeys' website.
He has been a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) since 2003 and served on its board as newsletter editor from 2003 to 2006. He has also been a member of the Marin Arts Council since 1998 and the North American Nature Photography Association since 2005.
